A total of 30 families from Macau and Hengqin of Zhuhai painted maintenance hole covers in Huahai Changlang (Flowery Corridors) of Hengqin Island in Zhuhai to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Macau’s returning to the motherland.
Besides maintenance hole cover paintings, families were invited to participate in interactive games on garbage sorting and greeting cards exchange, allowing families from Macao and Hengqin to interact closely.
“These colorful paintings and greeting cards make me feel warm,” said a tourist surnamed Feng. Huahai Changlang (Flowery Corridors) is a famous tourist site in Hengqin island, attracting many families from both Macao and Hengqin every weekend.
The event was co-hosted by the General Union of Neighbor Association of Macao Guangdong Office and Da Hengqin Public Facility Management company, with great support from Lianhua Community of Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. MDT/NewsGD.com
