Hengqin Ziqi Experimental Middle School recently held a ground-breaking ceremony, marking its entering into the construction phase of the building. It is expected to be completed and ready for use in 2025. The school will have 36 classrooms which can accommodate 1,800 students. Adjacent to the Macau New Neighborhood Project, the school covers an area of more than 47,000 square meters. Authorities stated that after the school is completed, Capital Normal University will take over the running of the school, and strive to build it into a window school and benchmark school in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
