It offers visitors a glimpse into the historical operation modes and processes of the pawnshop industry by displaying pawn tools, tickets and records. Video guided tours have been available since January 2015 to introduce visitors to the rise and prosperous development of pawnshops in Macau.
According to a press release, through this change IC “aims at promoting the Heritage Exhibition of a Traditional Pawnshop Business and the historical development of pawnshops in Macau to more people.”
The “Heritage Exhibition of a Traditional Pawnshop Business” is open to the public from 10:30am to 7pm every day except the first Monday of every month. It can host a maximum of 20 people at a time.
