As Macau and Hengqin have revealed a new joint logo, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) will further foster synergies with Hengqin in MICE. Branded as MICE² Macao x Hengqin, the new development strategy aims at unifying MICE promotions in both Macau and Hengqin, specifically the tactic of holding one event uniting two places. The logo resembles the Chinese character for door, highlighting the core of the strategy being inviting MICE goers to visit both Macau and Hengqin in a single go. The IPIM said the logo also symbolizes the mutual connectivity and development between the two places.
