May LRT passengers slightly drop
The average daily passenger volume of Taipa’s Light Rapid Transit (LRT) in May stood at 5,500, a drop of 1,000 compared to April. April’s was the highest figure on record since the end of a free ride campaign in February 2020. The LRT has been strongly impacted by Covid-19 as it only saw between 1,100 and 2,600 in the past three years.
