MGM once again joined hands with the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) to organize a culinary demonstration workshop earlier this month. Neo Ng, pastry chef of MGM Cotai, was invited to showcase his expertise in chocolate-making to the bachelor students of MUST majoring in Food & Beverage Management (BFBM). Marking the fourth edition of the series, both parties hope to enable students to better understand the professional culinary techniques.
Sponsored by Macao Foundation, this year’s workshop invited Neo Ng who has 20 years of industry experience in his tally, to demonstrate different techniques in chocolate making and share his insightful experience with nearly 30 students.
With the aim of developing local culinary talents for the gastronomy industry, MGM started partnering with MUST every year since 2018 to host culinary workshops, site-visits and other activities for their BFBM students.
