For three days only this coming September, MGM proudly presents an extraordinary culinary collaboration with the globally acclaimed Wagyu dining brand, WAGYUMAFIA, bringing back the highly sought-after pop-up experience to Macau. Building on the success of the pop-up in 2019, this year’s event from September 12 to 14, will be even bigger and more elevated, for the first showcasing all five WAGYUMAFIA dining concepts under one roof, transforming Grill 58 at MGM COTAI into “WAGYUMAFIA WORLD”.

The “WAGYUMAFIA WORLD” pop-up will take center stage beneath the record-breaking architectural marvel at the Spectacle.

Hisato Hamada, the chef-owner of WAGYUMAFIA will make the global debut of “WAGYUMAFIA WORLD” that unites each of its dining concept for the first time under one roof, at Grill 58 of MGM COTAI.
Guests can look forward to an extraordinary lineup featuring the refined dining experiences of WAGYUMAFIA and SUSHIMAFIA, alongside the beloved casual concepts Mashi no Mashi, WAGYUMAFIA Sando, and WAGYUMAFIA Burger. Led by Chef-Owner Hisato Hamada and Takafumi Horie, this gastronomic celebration promises an unparalleled culinary journey of artistry and exclusivity.
WAGYUMAFIA is celebrated for serving only the top one percent of Japanese Kobe and Ozaki beef, offering diners the true essence of Wagyu through ingredient-driven creations that merge tradition with modernity. Founded in Tokyo in 2016, the brand has redefined the Wagyu dining scene with its members-only chef’s table concepts, casual dining experiences and global pop-ups. It is renowned for sourcing the highest-grade Wagyu directly from Japan’s top 20 Wagyu farmers. Sharing the same philosophy as Grill 58 of offering only the most premium cuts, the “WAGYUMAFIA WORLD” pop-up will take its wagyu creations center stage beneath the record-breaking architectural glass roof at the Spectacle of MGM COTAI. Guests will experience three distinct dining experiences at its bar, grill dining, and teppanyaki—each designed to deliver a unique gastronomic adventure.

The pop-up will also mark the debut of Mashi no Mashi in Macau.
During the pop-up, guests can indulge in a series of unforgettable immersive dining experiences. For those seeking the ultimate encounter, the WAGYUMAFIA dinner Experience at the chef’s table and the exclusive SUSHIMAFIA omakase dinner will be offered at the Grill 58’s Teppanyaki area, highlighted by the signature dining ritual like no other. For this special occasion, these two coveted experiences, normally reserved exclusively for members, will be offered without any membership requirement for this limited-time pop-up, giving diners a rare opportunity to savor these world-renowned concepts.

At the same time, Bar 58 and the main dining area will be transformed into a vibrant space for lunch and dinner, serving signature creations from WAGYUMAFIA Sando (cutlet sandwiches) and WAGYUMAFIA Burger. Adding to the excitement, the pop-up will also mark the Macau debut of Mashi no Mashi, offering its famed Ultra Ramen in the main dining area for both lunch and dinner, delighting ramen and gyoza (dumpling) enthusiasts.
Complementing the culinary offerings is a curated selection of beverages, including gin & tonics, highballs, and beers, all presented in WAGYUMAFIA’s bold and innovative style.
