The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is today celebrating World Tourism Day with the traditional “Tray Race” as well as welcoming the “Lucky Tourist.” With the participation of many local hotels and resorts as well as other catering companies, the Tray Race will take place at the Ruins of St. Paul’s this afternoon, finishing at the Senado Square. The “Lucky Tourist” will be chosen from among those arriving this morning at the Macau International Airport on flight AK1301 from Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia). World Tourism Day has been celebrated on Sept. 27 since 1980.
