MIECF2025 to showcase Robot Dog B2, cutting-edge green technologies

The 2025 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2025MIECF) is set to take place from March 27 to 29, bringing together global leaders in green technology and sustainability.

For the first time in Macau, the internationally acclaimed Robot Dog B2 will be featured at the exhibition, demonstrating its advanced capabilities in automation and environmental applications, organizers announced in a statement.

In addition to this robotic highlight, the event will introduce the world’s first solar-powered wireless charging system for shared electric bikes, alongside a liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging system capable of fully charging a vehicle in just over 10 minutes.

These innovations align with the exhibition’s goal of fostering a proactive green platform through the debut of groundbreaking projects.

Over 40 well-known listed companies and more than 100 international exhibitors from the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Portuguese-speaking regions are expected to participate.

Organized by the SAR Government, the 2025MIECF is supported by several national ministries, including the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China. This year’s theme, “Innovation and Green Development – Solutions to Build Beautiful Cities,” will guide discussions and exhibitions focused on carbon neutrality, green transition, and sustainable urban solutions.

The event will feature five exhibition zones, including the newly established “Debut Economy Projects Zone” and “Green Future Industry Zone,” designed to showcase cutting-edge environmental initiatives.

The event will feature Gino Van Begin, Secretary General of ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, as a keynote speaker, who will share insights on global green transition efforts. Staff Reporter
