MPU eyes 15% increase in students

The Macau Polytechnic University (MPU) is aiming to increase its enrolment by an additional 15% in the coming 2024/2025 academic year. The university’s acting rector, Irene Lei, told the press that the university will focus on developing artificial intelligence, particularly Chinese-Portuguese machine translation. During the weekend, the MPU held its Open Day, attracting over 3,000 participants, according to its statement.
