Angelo Musa, a world champion pastry master and author, was invited by MGM to showcase his pastry-making expertise at the “CHOCOL’ART Culinary Demonstration” to over 80 pâtissiers and small enterprise owners from Macau, as well as chefs and entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and mainland China.
During the event yesterday, Chef Musa shared his insights towards pastry-making, followed by demonstration of four types of French chocolate pastries, by using eight different types of chocolate from Chocolaterie de l’Opera, a French artisanal chocolatier established nearly a century ago.
Geoffrey Simmons, vice president of Food and Beverage at MGM, expressed, “MGM endeavors to bridging cultures around the world through artistic initiatives including performing arts, music, visual arts and more.”
“This collaboration is part of MGM’s initiatives to encourage culinary exchange, and to strengthen Macau’s positioning as the Creative City of Gastronomy,” he added.
