Sands China launched its new “Sands Resorts Incubation Centre” program during a press conference held in The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo during Beyond Expo.
This program, which will include a series of targeted seminars and competitions, is aimed at encouraging technological innovation, to discover local innovative enterprises with development potential, and to introduce innovative solutions for smart integrated resorts.
“Smart tourism is a pivotal direction and trend in today’s tourism industry,” president of Sands China, Wilfred Wong, said in a statement.
In addition to the launch of the ‘Sands Resorts Incubation Centre program’, Sands China signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Parafuturo de Macau Investment and Development Limited (PFM) directed at working together with PFM’s Macau Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre to identify potential enterprises through periodic workshops, classroom trainings, and competition events.
