Sands China Ltd. recently marked its 13th consecutive year of supporting the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop with a donation of MOP300,000.

The donation helps cover the charitable organization’s operational costs.

Additionally, about 40 Sands Cares Ambassadors volunteered to distribute over 370 Chinese New Year food hampers to disadvantaged families served by the Welfare Shop.

Since 2013, the Welfare Shop has provided food and essentials to thousands of families facing financial hardship, helping them meet their living expenses.

The hampers include staple items such as rice, noodles, canned goods, cooking oil, and toiletries, as well as Chinese New Year gift packs purchased from the Fuhong Society of Macau.

Wilfred Wong, executive vice chairman of Sands China, expressed pride in the ongoing partnership and praised the company’s commitment to supporting the local community.
