SARs youth to compete in underwater robotics competition
Young people in Hong Kong and Macau will soon get a chance to showcase their talents in underwater robotics at a national competition coinciding with the 27th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China. The qualifying tournament for the International Youngster Unmanned Systems Competition (IYUSC) Smart Ocean challenge recently held a referee and coach training session in Hong Kong, signaling the commencement of a months-long preparation period. Over 60 professionals from the education and technology fields attended to learn about refereeing and coaching for the competition, which centers on marine science and technology.
