Ng Kuok Cheong asks for Ka-Ho chapel area to be renamed
Citing the name that the late Friar Gaetano Nicosia gave to the former Ka-Ho leprosarium – now a community facility – lawmaker Ng Kuok Cheong is requesting the government to officially rename the area the Our Lady Village of Ka-Ho and refrain from referring to the ex-leprosarium. He stressed that the new name will show respect for the late priest. He also is asking to transform some of the architecture into galleries which showcase the history of the location.
