Two commit arson at Fai Chi Kei McDonald’s

Police authorities initiated an investigation after the manager of the McDonald’s in Fai Chi Kei reported an incident of arson on the fast food chain’s premises yesterday morning.
The fire, which was discovered and extinguished by the staff at around 6:00 am in the playground zone on the first floor of the restaurant, caused no casualties, but damaged the steps of a ladder. A few burnt pieces of advertising paper were found on nearby trays.
Examination of the closed-circuit camera feed revealed that two men had approached the area with napkins and set the facility ablaze before fleeing the scene. Their motives are unknown and the police are investigating the incident.
