The Ritz-Carlton Café is collaborating with French artisanal jewellery brand Les Néréides again throughout March and April. With Les Néréides Set Lunch Menu, diners are to experience French gastronomic craftsmanship highlighting this season’s best ingredients

Inspired by two of Les Néréides’ collections, Lovely Lemon collection celebrates everything lemon, from its pearly white blossom and brightly yellow fruit, to the tangy aroma of the lemon tree—widely considered to be “the happiest scent in the world.” Meanwhile, Valentina’s Orchard is an ode to the terroir of northern Italy and the beautiful fruits and flowers that it produces. The collection boasts a succulent selection of jewels that will take you on an idyllic tour of a sun-soaked orchard, picking chili, apricot, fig, almond and raspberry along the way.

 The vivacious spirit and colourful palette of the collections are heartily reflected in the menu, which comprises an array of refined dishes with a strong focus on citrus flavours and classic French influence. First, the luxurious Red Shrimp Carpaccio, with its invigorating lemon zest curd and pesto, awakes one’s palate. Then, a selection of main courses includes the Orange Glazed Mallard Duck Breast, whose ingenious pairing of mandarin and Cointreau sauce offers a double-dose of the orange’s signature sweet-tart taste and the Steak Frites, which puts an Asian spin on this French gastronomy staple with the addition of the yuzu béarnaise sauce. Finally, the Orange Cremeux Sable, complete with citrus confit and lemon sorbet, is a loving homage to the individualities of different citrus fruits.
