The Buzz | Woman stabbed six times over financial dispute

A woman who was stabbed six times on Saturday near the Border Gate is now in a critical condition in hospital, according to a report by TDM. According to the broadcaster, some of the shop owners in the area witnessed the incident. “I heard her screaming. I saw her and I saw the man take out a knife […] and stab the woman a couple of times with it,” one witness reportedly said.
The Public Security Police have arrested a 53-year-old suspect who they believe was responsible for the attack. They also said that they thought that the perpetrator and the victim knew each other and that the incident may be linked to a financial dispute.
