Macau’s exhibition space was dedicated to the theme “Transcending the City”, and it explores the interaction between people and the city, and the memories and experiences that arise therein.

Seven provinces eligible to export domestic helpers

Seven mainland provinces have joined the official list of approved places of origin for Macau’s domestic helper supply, according to an announcement by the Labor Affairs Bureau (DSAL) last Friday. The measure came into effect on Saturday. Residents of Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Anhui, Sichuan and Guizhou are now permitted to work as domestic helpers in Macau under the DSAL’s current employment criteria. Between 2013 and 2018, Guangdong and Fujian were the only two mainland provinces from which Macau residents could hire domestic helpers.
