IPIM rolls out online document submission system

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) has launched an online document submission system. The service allows applicants to fill out a temporary residency application form online and upload supporting documents before filing a formal temporary residency application. According to a statement issued by IPIM, after applicants have submitted the relevant information via the new system, the institute’s personnel will check whether or not applicants have submitted all the required documents and inform them by email within 30 days of receiving the documents of the analysis result and the designated dates for filing a formal application. IPIM stated that the measure was taken “in line with the administrative concept that emphasizes administrative simplification.”

Air Macau inaugurates new airplane

Air Macau inaugurated a new Airbus 320 aircraft on Wednesday, baptized “Cidade de Macau” [City of Macau], in the hangar of the Macau International Airport. The airplane’s interior layout consists of eight business class and 150 economy class seats respectively. Its maiden flight, NX886, was operated yesterday morning from Macau to Bangkok.
