Artyzen Grand Lapa presents ‘Macanese Nights’

Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau is hosting “Macanese Nights” at Café Bela Vista for the second time, featuring renowned Chef Antonieta Manhão, known for her expertise in Macanese cuisine, and the hotel’s Chef Pedro Santos Do Carmo from restaurant Café Bela Vista.

“‘Macanese Nights’ is not just a dining experience; it’s a captivating cultural celebration of the city’s rich culinary heritage – a tradition that has graced Macau for over 400 years,” the hotel said in a statement.

To be held every Tuesday to Thursday during these three weeks, the event aims to preserve and promote the unique flavors and traditions that define Macau. It will also spotlight and celebrate Macau’s culinary heritage, entwined with its Portuguese influence, bridging east and west.

Rutger Verschuren, general manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, commented, “This promotion not only represents our dedication to providing unique and culturally rich experiences to our guests but also reinforces our strong commitment to the preservation of Macau’s culinary heritage.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Chef Antonieta Manhão, also known as Chef Neta, said, “Through this, I hope to remind the public of true Macanese family cuisine and preserve it for younger generations.”  Staff Reporter
