Sands China Ltd. and Marriott International are set to introduce the first Luxury Collection Hotel into Macau.
Located within The Londoner Macao, the Londoner Grand, a Luxury Collection Hotel, aims to combine British living with Macau’s cultural heritage.
Designed by Peter Silling & Associates, the hotel features Georgian-inspired architecture.
Its rooms and suites are designed to reflect a townhouse atmosphere influenced by London’s Mayfair district.
The interiors focus on comfort and functionality, with open-plan living and dining areas. Some suites will include private terraces, children’s rooms, media rooms and plunge pools.
The Londoner Grand will enhance The Londoner Macao’s dining options with five new concepts.
Hampton Court will offer an international and Chinese buffet, while Chelsea Garden will provide all-day dining with a variety of local Chinese dishes.
The Conservatory will feature a dim sum restaurant, tearoom, confectionery store and British pub.
Two signature Chinese restaurants will serve Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine.
“This hotel represents a significant step in enhancing Macau’s luxury hospitality landscape,” said Grant Chum, CEO of Sands China Ltd in yesterday’s press release. “It will also serve as a gateway to Macau’s cultural heritage.”
With 2,405 rooms and suites, the hotel aims to cater to both business and leisure travelers. Nadia Shaw
