Starting today, holders of Macau-issued passports will be allowed to enter Kazakhstan without a visa and remain in the Central Asian country for up to 14 days per visit, under a new agreement. The visa waiver pact will provide reciprocal visa-free access to each country’s citizens. Macau passport holders will therefore be able to join the ranks of those from 147 other economies with zero visa or visa-on-arrival access to Kazakhstan. The new arrangements follow various discussions and are expected to facilitate travel and people-to-people exchanges between Macau and Kazakhstan.
