The Broadway Macau Food Festival is showcasing over 30 culinary stalls that blend Macau’s rich heritage with modern gastronomic trends. Running every Friday to Sunday until Nov. 10, this festival invites locals and tourists alike to experience a vibrant array of flavors.
Hosted by Galaxy Macau Integrated Resort, the festival transforms Broadway Food Street into a lively hub filled with century-old brands and emerging culinary stars. Attendees can savor iconic dishes like traditional egg waffles and shrimp paste, alongside contemporary bites designed for sharing on social media. The event aims to celebrate Macau’s designation as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy while supporting local small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Dignitaries including Mr. Cheng Wai Tong, Acting Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office, and Mr. Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer of Galaxy Entertainment Group, inaugurated the festival Oct. 25. Kelley emphasized the importance of promoting local businesses, stating, “Championing the sustainable growth of local SMEs has been a cornerstone of GEG’s corporate philosophy.”
The festival features not only food but also live performances from local musicians and traditional Portuguese dances, creating an enchanting atmosphere for all attendees. Guests can also participate in fun games and capture memories at iconic photo spots adorned with Portuguese tiles.
