In collaboration with local and Belgian partners, the Consulate General of Belgium will be presenting the second edition of ‘Belgian Days.’
Running from Nov. 8 to 17, the week-long celebration of Belgian culture will launch with a four-hands dinner at the Ritz Carlton, helmed by Belgian chef Alexandre Ciriello and local chef Jackie Ho.
On Nov. 9, a seminar on sports tourism and entertainment will be held at W Macau – Studio City.
Also scheduled is an exchange with the Chairman of the Spa Francorchamps Grand Prix circuit, Melchior Wathelet, as well as a presentation by Belgian innovative companies, which are world leaders in the supply of cultural and entertainment content, who will be presenting the latest trends in the sector.
The day will culminate with a preview of an exhibition starring Belgian artists Kris Provoost, Stef., and Mathieu Flasse at Albergue SCM. This exhibition will then be formally open to the public, from Nov. 10 to 17 providing an opportunity to appreciate the trio’s expressions of visual art.
Additional highlights include a cocktail session at Albergue SCM with Belgian mixologist Sergio Pezzoli, who will be crafting cocktails, while the Consulate General will be offering Belgian beers and waffles to guests.
Prominent flautist Marc Grauwels and DJ Shyne will also perform in the patio area.
“Belgian Days” will continue with a seafood brunch at the Ritz Carlton on Nov. 10, followed by a recital where Grauwels will join local pianist Vincci Chan at Waterfront Duet. Staff Reporter
