Tropical cyclone Yinxing, currently located near Luzon in the Philippines, is expected to move westward and come within 800 km of Macau early today. The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) said it plans to issue a tropical cyclone signal during the day. “As Yinxing continues its path across the northern South China Sea, uncertainties remain regarding its intensity and trajectory,” the bureau cautioned. The combined effects of Yinxing and the northeast monsoon will lead to slightly cooler weather in the mornings and evenings over the next few days.
