Macau’s Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau (ISAF) launched the “Pharmacy Training Course” from Nov. 8 to 14, aimed at enhancing the local pharmaceutical industry’s capabilities. The opening ceremony featured ISAF vice president Ng Kuok Leong, who emphasized the government’s commitment to advancing the health sector and improving pharmaceutical management. The course covers essential topics, including Macau’s pharmaceutical legislation and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) practices. Over 100 participants, including pharmacists and technical directors, are expected to benefit from this initiative. MTM involves specialized services from pharmacists, including comprehensive drug assessments, pharmacotherapy planning, and monitoring drug efficacy and safety.
