University of Tourism plans enrollment expansion

The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) announced plans to expand enrollment and introduce new bachelor’s and master’s degree programs after 2024. The Jubilee Building at the Taipa campus is set to be completed in the first quarter of next year, transforming into a teaching facility, while the old faculty building will become a teaching hotel. According to university president Fanny Vong, this expansion aims to accommodate the growing demand for culinary courses, featuring a new teaching kitchen to enhance training for local catering talent.
