Chan Un Tong, director of the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL), and Chan Tze Wai, deputy director, took their oaths of office yesterday, in a ceremony presided over by the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Tai Kin Ip. In his speech, Tai highlighted that DSAL’s work is closely tied to public welfare and socio-economic development. He expressed hope that both Chan Un Tong and Chan Tze Wai, with their professional expertise, would lead DSAL’s team to effectively implement the government’s policies in the economic and financial sectors.
