Islands Hospital construction site inspection services cost MOP197.6 million

The “Project Management and Inspection Services” of the Islands Health Services Complex will cost the MSAR a total of MOP197.6 million.
The information was disclosed in a notice in the Official Gazette (BO) published yesterday. The BO indicates that the company which will provide the referred services from this year until 2019 will be the Hong Kong-­based Aecom Asia Company Limited.
The amount to be received by Aecom Asia will be split in annual amounts over 4 years with the biggest shares (64 percent) to be paid during the years of 2017 and 2018, amounts of MOP65.6 million and MOP60.85 million respectively.
For the first and last shares,  the smaller amounts of MOP38.4 million (2019) and MOP32.74 million (2016) are reserved.
Aecom Asia Company Limited is a well known company in the field, participating in several large-scale projects, including the consultancy contract for the HK Highways Department for the design and construction of the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link project, which is part of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-­Macau Bridge related projects.
