As the 2024 Moon Festival approaches, CAC – Círculo dos Amigos da Cultura de Macau and Albergue SCM has announced activities for the the upcoming “Celebration of the Chinese New Year Moon Lantern Festival” party.
The event will be held on Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m. in Albergue SCM, featuring a series of traditional Chinese New Year snacks.
The event also features a wishing well, dance performances and live music.
At the same time, the CAC has invited renowned Macau calligrapher Master Choi Chun Heng to perform a calligraphy activity and present the “Chinese Calligraphy Art Exhibition 2024” in order to promote traditional Chinese culture and celebrate the Moon Festival.
The fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar calendar is the first full moon night of the year. It marks the beginning of a new year and the revival of nature.
