After a four-year break, the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) has returned to Macau, filling for the first time, the amphitheater of the Galaxy Arena at the Galaxy International Convention Center.
With an extended edition covering a total of six days and with the presence of eight top-tier teams from the international volleyball panorama, the VNL 2024 Macao has gathered the attention of tens of thousands of fans who had the chance to not only watch some exciting high volleyball matches but also to meet and greet with their favorite players from the national teams of China, the Dominican Republic, Italy, the Netherlands, Brazil, Thailand, Japan, and France.
In line with its tradition of 14 years, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has sponsored the event, which, for the first time, was jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, GEG, and the Volleyball Association of Macao, China, as noted by GEG’s director, Philip Cheng. In the press conference that launched the event, he highlighted GEG’s efforts to contribute to Macau becoming a “City of Sports.”
