image003Conrad Macao Facebook Fan Kukhyun Kim from Korea has won a two-night stay in the Presidential Suite by uploading a photo of a Conrad Macao Bear to his Facebook page and #Travelbear and tagging Conrad Macao. The winning photo was taken against the backdrop of Hwaseong Fortress, Suwon, Korea.
Throughout August, Conrad Macao, Cotai Central invited fans to win a free luxury Macao getaway; all they had to do was upload a photo of one of the hotel’s bears at a famous landmark to their Facebook timeline. All photos needed to have #TravelBear and also tag Conrad Macao Facebook.
The campaign reached more than 568,000 fans, 8,000 likes and 160 shares.
“We were overwhelmed by the response to our #Travelbear campaign.  Our bear travelled the world and popped up in front of iconic world landmarks in Australia, USA, London, Paris, Brussels, Greece, Hong Kong, China and Korea. We knew our hotel guests were world travellers and now we know our Conrad bears are as well; we will certainly continue the campaign in 2015 to see where he visits next,” said general manager, Bede Barry.

As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, CEM organized a visit for around a dozen ambassadors to the Fuhong Society of Macau and the Richmond Fellowship of Macau yesterday.
CEM Ambassadors kicked off their campaign by paying a visit to more than 130 members of the Fuhong Society of Macau’s Pou Choi Centre. The Pou Choi Centre provides mentally handicapped adults with occupational skills training and employment services, in order to help them fit into society. The center offers a range of services including workshops, laundry, a training room, social club as well as a division for occupational therapy assessment.
CEM Ambassadors then visited the members of the Richmond Fellowship of Macau, a non-profit welfare organization registered with the Social Welfare Bureau, providing ex-mentally ill patients with a range of community support services, such as accommodation, vocational training, as well as social and recreational activities.
To spice up the event, the Ambassadors and the members of the two centers jointly sang a number of famous songs. There was also a game in which the winners were awarded a gift by CEM. Ambassadors wrapped the day by giving daily necessities to the members as a token of goodwill.
