The high point of the evening was the auction of a giant 1,000-gram Italian white truffle.  According to a press release, after intense bidding, SJM, represented by managing director and chief Administrative officer Angela Leong, was the successful bidder for the item at MOP1.6 million.

Other auction items included one bottle (0.75L) of Romanée-Conti 2001 and one bottle (3L) of Montrachet 2011, a deluxe VIP Travel Package to Japan including two business class tickets to Osaka plus two nights in a Premier Room at Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto, amongst others.

This year’s charity auction also comprised a silent auction held during the cocktail reception.
