GEG donates MOP920,000 to charity foundation
Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), under its Community Caring Program 2019, has donated MOP920,000 to General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macau (UGAMM) Peng On Tung Charity Foundation.
The donation was received by Leong Heng Kao, president of UGAMM, who said it
would be used to subsidize the use of the Peng On Tung service and Peng On Tung Outdoor-Assistance Service for individuals with financial difficulties.
GEG also organized volunteers to pay for home visits to Peng On Tung service users, where they share with the elderly information about disaster preparedness and emergency response actions in order to strengthen community awareness of disaster prevention.
GEG has been sponsoring 300 service users for three years since the launch of the Peng On Tung Outdoor-Assistance Service in 2019.
For the past 8 years, GEG has been cooperating with UGAMM on activities such as sponsoring key services and activities to foster a community care network.
