To add further value to the Ambassadors’ volunteer work, Sands China donated MOP 500 for each of the 1,500 service hours given between August 2013 and July 2014 to five organizations selected by the SCCA volunteers. The five groups were chosen from the organizations SCCA has worked with since the establishment of the program. Caritas Macau, the Peng On Tung Tele-Assistance Service Centre, Macau Deaf Association, The Macau Association of Parents of the Mentally Handicapped, and Macau Special Olympics were selected as the beneficiary organizations, each receiving a donation of MOP 150,000 from the company.
