Fisherman’s Wharf signs agreement on public music performances
Macau Fisherman’s Wharf and the Macau Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers held a signing ceremony for the agreement on public musical performance licenses at Vic’s in Macau Fisherman’s Wharf’s Rocks Hotel.
The agreement extends public music performances right throughout Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, including Legend Palace Hotel, Harbourview Hotel, Rocks Hotel, Legend Palace Casino and Babylon Casino.
Jennifer Lai, Group Director of Marketing & Communications of Macau Legend Development, said that the agreement will allow Macau Fisherman’s Wharf “to provide a sustainable environment to the local musicians.”
She said that the recent designation of Macau as a Creative City of Gastronomy was the impetus for the agreement.
“Gastronomy means the art of eating good food which [consists of] good food, wine, ambien[ce] and an essential element – music,” she said. “Macau Fisherman’s Wharf has nearly 30 restaurants, apart from serving authentic menus we also feature the local music at dining outlets.”
