This summer, The Venetian Macao’s Bellini Lounge is introducing a range of twelve new cocktails. From now until the end of August, guests will be able to enjoy summer cocktails made by the bartenders at Bellini Lounge.
Some of the summer specials include the Berry Red Summer made with Gin, Drambuie, Raspberries and Grapefruit Juice, while the Blue Hawaii features Rum, Blue Curacao, Coconut Cream and Pineapple Juice. Cerveza Nicola mixes Campari, Vodka and Draught Beer and the aptly named Tropical Itch blends Vodka, Rum, Grand Marnier and Passion Fruit Juice.
Macau 2nd French Film Festival returns to UA Galaxy cinemas
Following last year’s success, the French Film Festival returns to UA Galaxy Cinemas with a selection of new movies from the land of Godard and Truffaut. Mr. Roger Lienhard, Senior Vice President – Hospitality, Galaxy Macau, Mr. Julien-Loïc Garin, Chief Executive Officer of Le French May and Ms. Lucie Borleteau attended the opening ceremony.
This year features the award-winning opening film “Fidelio: Alice’s Journey”, which a woman embarks upon a metaphorical and literal journey of self-discovery; “Serial (Bad) Weddings”, a comedy about would-be in-laws who plot to break up the marriage of their children; and Cannes Film Festival darling “Renoir”, which documents the latter years of a painter who finds rejuvenation in a new muse.
The Macau 2nd French Film Festival continues all this week until Sunday, 7 June at UA Galaxy Cinemas.
Mandarin oriental wins ‘top presidential suite’ award
Mandarin Oriental, Macau was awarded the “Top Presidential Suite in Macau” at the Chinese 2015 Hurun Presidential Awards. This is the third time for the hotel to receive the honor.
Mandarin Oriental was one of the most awarded hotel groups in the ceremony. Mandarin Oriental, Taipei, opened in 2014, also won the “Top Presidential Suite in Taipei.” The Group’s flagship property, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, was awarded the “Top Restaurant in Hong Kong”, whilst Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou was honored with the “Top Spa in Guangzhou.”
