Customs seizes 265 immigrants

Macau Customs has intercepted 265 cases of illegal immigrants attempting to reach Macau by water, marking a 90% increase from 137 cases in the same period last year. In a meeting hosted by the North District Community Advisory Board, the bureau said it has also intercepted 4,312 logistics cases at various ports, reflecting a 9% decrease year-on-year. Additionally, 37 cross-border vehicles involved in parallel import activities were seized, with 256 locations suspected of such activities identified across the region, including shops and residences.
