MGM brings excitement to Barra District with “Summer Hype” mega event series, kicking off the series is the “BERTILO Drifts in Barra” Giant Inflatable Floating Installation at Navy Yard No.1.
Floating on the Lago da Barra, the installation is jointly curated by Italian artist Bertil Butturini and Chinese artist Jingo Li. BERTILO, the pink chubby Italian character, embodies a laid-back and relaxed lifestyle, encouraging everyone to slow down, wander, and uncover the hidden gems of Barra. Alongside adorable pink photo spots in the area, the public installation immerses visitors in a burst of joy throughout the entire summer.
Adding to the sweetness is a delightful array of themed delights served by food trucks featuring local food and beverage outlets. Photo-worthy pink eats and drinks, including Pink Chubby Burger Sticks, Pink Chubby Summer Ice Cream, Canal cover-shaped Pink Grills, and Chubby Custard Bun and Drinks await you at the Open Area of Navy Yard No.2.
