Galaxy’s new youth program to ‘cultivate local talent’

To develop local talent for the integrated tourism and leisure sector, the Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) recently inaugurated its “Integrated Resort Youth Development Program” in collaboration with the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) at the Banyan Tree Ballroom of Galaxy Macau.

With a training quota of more than 50, the program will feature training and career development opportunities for Macau residents in numerous sectors such as food and beverage, housekeeping and VIP hospitality through 300 hours of professional training over a 12-month period.

“DSAL attaches great importance to talent cultivation and thanks GEG for its support and cooperation to jointly launch the “Integrated Resort Youth Development Program,” with an aim of fostering employment and upward mobility of local residents whilst facilitating quality development of the tourism sector,” the director of DSAL, Wong Chi Hong, said.
