The Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) recently facilitated the participation of Macau enterprises in the 24th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) held in Xiamen earlier this month.
This initiative aimed to promote investment opportunities both within the exhibition and beyond, focusing on four major industry sectors, according to a statement the bureau released.
During the event, IPIM established a 180-square-metre “Macao Pavilion,” designed to highlight Macau’s business environment and its role as a commercial bridge between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
Foreign investors visiting the pavilion expressed their appreciation for gaining insights into the SAR’s investment landscape and indicated potential interest in conducting business research in the region.
In addition to the exhibition, IPIM’s investment promotion team visited prominent technology companies in Xiamen and Fuzhou, promoting Macau as an attractive destination for business expansion.
Meanwhile, a Fuzhou-based technology company, which had previously invested in Macao before the pandemic, revealed plans to revitalize their investment strategies based on new information provided by IPIM. Staff Reporter
