Grand Lisboa Palace to host new residency show

This year, Grand Lisboa Palace will host a new residency show, as announced by the gaming operator. SJM Resorts, in partnership with the renowned Hong Kong Ballet, is inviting talented male and female dancers with strong skills in ballet or contemporary dance to audition for “The Adventures of Alice @ Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.”

This reimagined classic story will come to life through performances, imaginative costumes, and up-close interaction with the audience under the guidance of artistic professionals. Successful candidates will be engaged on short-term performance contracts .

Septime Webre, the artistic director of the Hong Kong Ballet, emphasizes the unique benefits of participating in “The Adventures of Alice” residency show.

He highlights how this program serves as a platform for dancers to elevate their careers and showcase their talents.

The production, choreographed by Webre, will be performed on selected days throughout 2025 at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.

The experience features a lively parade, whimsical performances, and interactive workshops, taking place on a state-of-the-art 360-degree stage at the Atrium on Level 1 of the resort.

Auditions will be held on Jan. 11 and Jan. 12 at the Macao Conservatory School of Dance and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, respectively. VC
