Guangzhou relaxes measures for home buyers from Macau

Guangzhou has recently relaxed restrictions on home purchases for residents of Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The authorities have stated that there are no limitations on the number of properties that can be acquired with an area exceeding 120 square meters. The new policy, which was introduced by the Guangzhou Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau last week, allows residents from the specified regions to purchase a home in restricted areas if they provide the necessary identity or travel documents. The designated areas have already been identified by the city authorities, with six districts currently classified as such.
