Hengqin rolls out new residential purchase criteria

The criteria for purchasing residential units at the Macau New Neighbourhood  in Hengqin have been adjusted significantly, effective immediately. These changes include the removal of the age limit for buyers, lifting the five-year resale restriction and modifying the calculation method for determining how many units a buyer can purchase. Notably, married couples are no longer counted as a single unit in these calculations. This initiative has been approved by the Executive Committee of the Guangdong-Macau In-Depth Cooperation Zone. As of mid-November, over 750 households have moved into the neighborhood.
