IAS to maintain current subsidy scheme for caregivers

The Social Welfare Bureau said it will maintain the current subsidy scheme for caregivers without any modifications. Director Hon Wai confirmed that the government will continue to assess applications and provide financial assistance to caregivers as needed. In addition to the subsidies, individuals requiring caregiving services will have access to free medical care, rehabilitation training, and mobility services, while caregivers will receive emotional support and assistance in managing their stress levels.
