Visitors to the World Cup have experienced the beauty and geographic diversity of Russia amid warm temperatures and nearly endless daylight. Associated Press photographers captured these images of daily life in the vast country as the soccer tournament moved into its last stages.
Twenty-seven days into the greatest sports event, there were no major incidents reported and visitors and Russians alike are all set to the finals, in a mostly festive atmosphere.
