Macau has successfully hosted the 2021 Global Partner Summit by Trip.com Group, with the support of Sand China Ltd.
Trip.com Group chose Macau to host the event as it is one of the very few overseas destinations open to Chinese travelers, and because it is considered the safest travel destination during the pandemic. The summit drew over 1,700 travel industry professionals, representing every sector of the industry, who reviewed the development of the global travel industry over the past year and shared insightful discussions on future trends and new opportunities. Sands China Ltd. won several notable awards, including “The Best Strategic Partner”, at the Trip.com Group Global Partner Summit – Awards Ceremony.
James Liang, chairman and co-founder of Trip.com, offered his view on the progression of the international travel recovery and reinforced their continuous efforts to foster industry cooperation aimed at recovery.
