To develop its international market, SJM recently organized a travel trade event in Hong-Kong in partnership with the SJM’s parent company Sociedade de Tursimo e Diversões de Macau (STDM), showcasing numerous tourism offerings and hotels such as its latest integrated resort the Grand Lisboa Palace.
During the event, at least 120 local travel industry professionals gained a better understanding of the offerings of SJM and STDM, including their hotel accommodations, dining options, shopping choices, and a diverse array of leisure activities.
Daisy Ho, managing director of SJM, expressed, “Hong Kong has long been a key
source market for Macau, taking account that large numbers of international visitors arrive in Macau via Hong Kong every year.”
“As such, we organized this trade event with the objective to expand our catchment and ultimately contribute to reinforcing Macau as the World Centre of Leisure and Tourism,” she added.
