The Women and Children Affairs Committee has visited several public and semi-public entities to witness talent cultivation and gender efforts.
According to a statement from the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS), the committee recently visited the Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) and saw the exhibits at the Communications Museum, where the committee delegation was introduced to local cybersecurity and IT talent.
Afterwards, the delegation visited CTM, where they were introduced to talent cultivation efforts and discussed topics such as smart city construction and cybersecurity concerning children.
The delegation has also visited a childcare center, which had referred suggestions from children to the government, “highlighting the compliance of children’s rights of participation as stated in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.”
